RAW enabled video cameras and cinema cameras record to a compressed RAW format, which means you don't need extremely large memory cards and HDDs for capture and storage. With that said, RAW video will resolve more detail and appear sharper due to the lack of compression, but ML RAW also reduces your resolution to 1880 x 940 at 24 FPS, which probably isn't an issue, as your camera likely doesn't resolve 1080P in H.264 mode, despite the marketing claims. In my opinion, studio shots, where you can control the lighting, don't warrant RAW, because you don't have the extreme contrast ratios that you get when shooting outdoors. Why do you think you need to/want to shoot in RAW? I'm not saying you shouldn't, I'm just saying you should have a reason for it.
